Dwayne Johnson has used his Instagram account to confirm that the long in the works DC Comics film adaptation “Black Adam” has finally set a release date – December 22nd 2021.
Johnson also shared some concept art of himself as the titular anti-hero, the work created by digital artist Boss Logic and DC Comics artist Jim Lee.
Johnson has been linked to the project for a decade and today says: “This role is unlike any other I’ve ever played in my career and I’m grateful to the bone we’ll all go on this journey together
Jaume Collet-Serra (“The Shallows”), who helms the Johnson and Emily Blunt-led “Jungle Cruise,” directs the film for Warner Bros. Pictures. Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia produce.
