Zemeckis Unleashes A “Gnome Attack”

Robert Zemeckis and his Imagemovers banner are attached to adapt Chuck Sambuchino’s book “How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack” which is being optioned by Sony Pictures Animation says Heat Vision.

The book is described as a “survival guide that will help you prevent, prepare for and ward off an imminent home invasion by the common garden gnome. Once thought of as harmless yard decorations, evidence is mounting that these smiling lawn statues are poised and ready to wreck havoc.”

No scribe is attached, all that is known is that they’re aiming for a rating under an R. The announcement comes a month after the decidedly poor performance of the Zemeckis-produced “Mars Needs Moms”.
