Zellweger Won’t Sack But Will “Pillage”

Renee Zellweger has acquired the feature film rights to Brantly Martin’s novel “Pillage” reports Variety.

The story centers on four best friends living in Manhattan who rebel against their dead-end lives by searching for the perfect party in the downtown nightlife scene.

John Krokidas penned the screenplay and will direct while Zellweger and Kevin Frakes will produce. Shooting is scheduled to start early next year in New York City.
