“Atlanta” and “Deadpool 2” star Zazie Beetz is in talks to join both Kristen Stewart in the Jean Seberg biopic “Against All Enemies,” and Natalie Portman in the sci-fi film “Pale Blue Dot”.
‘Enemies’ centers on attempts by the FBI to discredit prolific actress Seberg through its Cointelpro program in retaliation for her support of the Black Panther Party, including a false story about the true father of her unborn child.
Beetz’s role is unknown. Anthony Mackie, Jack O’Connell, Margaret Qualley, and Colm Meaney co-star in the movie which Benedict Andrews is directing from a script by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse.
“Pale Blue Dot” stars Portman as an astronaut who returns to Earth after a mission and begins an affair with a fellow astronaut (Jon Hamm). She heads into a downward spiral as she loses her connection to her family.
When her lover beings another affair with an astronaut trainee (Beetz), she hits rock bottom. “Fargo” and “Legion” creator Noah Hawley will direct from a script by Brian C. Brown and Elliot DiGuiseppi.
