Zac Efron will star in and produce an untitled workplace comedy for Warner Bros. Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
Jason Filardi (“17 Again”) penned the script while Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot are in negotiations to produce. Story details are presently unknown.
Efron has also announced the initial slate of his new production company Ninjas Runnin’ Wild Productions. The films include:
“Art of the Steal”, a Wired article adaptation about a master thief; the time travel story “Einstein Theory” set up at Warners which Efron could star in; the Brian Michael Bendis comic adaptation “Fire” about a college student recruited by the CIA; and the American remake of the Swedish thriller “Snabba cash”.
Separate from his company, Efron will also produce Leslie Dixon’s untitled thriller set up at Mandate.
