Yvette Nicole Brown Out Of “Community”

Yvette Nicole Brown will not appear in the upcoming thirteen episode, sixth season of “Community” on Yahoo Screen.

The show’s executive producers, and Sony Pictures Television, have released Brown from her contract after she asked to leave the show to care for her ailing father says The Live Feed.

Brown plays Greendale Community College student Shirley Bennett and was expected to return alongside the show’s other regulars including Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie and Ken Jeong.

Another exit is Jonathan Banks, who played a regular on the show’s fifth season. He’s had to pull out due to his commitments to reprise his iconic “Breaking Bad” role in AMC’s “Better Call Saul”.

Two new characters will be joining Greendale though – a woman brought in as a consultant to help shape up the school, and a retired salesman who comes to Greendale to reinvent himself.
