Young Sheldon Scores A Two Season Renewal

CBS’ single-camera comedy series “Young Sheldon,” the prequel spin-off to the hit multi-cam sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” has scored an early renewal for a third and fourth season.

The series follows ten-year-old Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) as he struggles to fit in with his family and classmates in East Texas. Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, and Annie Potts co-star.

“Young Sheldon” is one of the most-watched shows on broadcast and the second most-watched comedy, behind only ‘Big Bang’. The prequel series currently averages 14.6 million viewers per week in the Nielsen Live+7 numbers.
