Yellowstone Renewed For A Second Season

The Paramount Network has renewed its Taylor Sheridan-created drama “Yellowstone” for a ten-episode second season. The news comes ahead of the first season finale on August 22nd.

Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser and Danny Huston star in the series about the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.

Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect, the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders. The series has been a hit for the network, the premiere pulling in 5.3 million viewers in Live+7 and subsequent episodes have been maintaining the show’s ratings.

Sheridan will return as the showrunner and a writer for the series. Production will take place entirely on location in Utah and Montana shortly for a 2019 launch.
