Several TV series scored good news today, starting with Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone” series for Paramount Network. Though the show’s second season doesn’t begin until tonight, a renewal order for a third season has been handed out. In addition, “Lost” and “Colony” alum Josh Holloway will join the cast of that season, playing charming hedge fund manager Roarke Carter who has ambitious plans in Montana.
Next up, FX has renewed Ryan Murphy’s dance musical series “Pose” for a third season – the renewal coming after only one episode of the show’s second season has aired. The show features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles ever and is considered a big awards contender.
Finally, Netflix has renewed sketch comedy series “I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson” for a second season to air in 2020 – the order coming less than two months after its six-part series debut. The series pokes fun at some of the most bizarre and mundane situations in life and features guest stars like Vanessa Bayer, Will Forte, Steven Yeun, Andy Samberg and Tim Heidecker.
