Year One Still Stuck With R-Rating

The MPAA’s Classification and Rating Appeals Board upheld the R rating given to the upcoming comedy “Year One” says The Hollywood Reporter.

Producer Judd Apatow and director/co-writer Harold Ramis appeared before the board to argue for a more lenient rating for the comedy that stars Jack Black and Michael Cera as a couple of barely-out-of-the-cave men who travel through the ancient world.

But the appeals board still elected to keep the R rating for “some sexual content and language.” A June 19th release is still planned.
