Finally, we have a date. Microsoft has officially announced that the Xbox One is set to launch on Friday, November 22nd in 13 of their initial launch markets.
Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK and the USA will all receive the box on that date.
That puts it smack dab in the middle of the worldwide rollout of rival PlayStation 4 which hits North America on November 15th, and other markets (including those above) on November 29th.
This means both consoles will be available during the U.S. Black Friday sales. Let the buying begin.
