X-Men’s Quicksilver Returns For “Apocalypse”

After stealing the show in “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” Evan Peters’ Quicksilver is unsurprisingly getting some more screen time. Second unit director Brian Smrz tells Newsarama that another sequence with the character is planned for “X-Men: Apocalypse”:

“They want me to start pretty soon, on the storyboarding and stuff. I’ll be working on the next X-Men for the next month or so part-time, and by the end of the year it’ll be full-time… There will be another Quicksilver scene, which I’m looking forward to. That’ll be fun.”

Smrz played a key part in shooting the Quicksilver sequence in ‘Days’ and even suggests a solo film about the character is something he’d love to see: “We talked about Quicksilver before. I’d love to do a Quicksilver as a solo film because there’s a lot to enjoy with that character.”

Filming on “X-Men: Apocalypse” begins in April.
