The first photo has been released from “X-Men: Days of Future Past – The Rogue Cut,” the July 14th Blu-ray and DVD release of last summer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” which runs a full seventeen minutes longer than the theatrical cut. The first screening of the new cut will take place at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con on July 11th.
The new scenes, which were already shot before it was decided to cut them, mostly focus around a subplot with Anna Paquin’s Rogue that sees her interacting with Magneto (Ian McKellen), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) and Kitty Pride (Ellen Page).
In related but far less confirmed news, Latino Review has posted a report claiming should this year’s “Fantastic Four” reboot prove a success, Fox is considering an “X-Men”/”Fantastic Four” crossover movie for 2018. More details at the link.
