Though “X-Men: Apocalypse” wrapped its shoot back in August, additional filming and some minor reshooting is always expected with blockbusters of this size. ComicBook.com reports that said filming has now been booked in with the cast and crew returning to Montreal in January to conduct them.
So far so normal, but the site also cites a report from ‘Le Journal de Montreal’ which indicates that Hugh Jackman will be on hand for the reshoots. This comes as Jackman’s role in the film has been somewhat unclear – the actor though to only have a cameo at best, unlike his leading role in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.
The other possibility is a stinger that could lead into the third “Wolverine” film which is in the works and aims to open in March 2017. “X-Men: Apocalypse” meanwhile will hit May 27th 2016.
