“Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner, who plays the young Jean Grey in Bryan Singer’s upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse,” has tweeted a photo showing one of the film’s easter eggs – and in the process has suggested a potential celebrity cameo.

In the shot, her character is holding up an album by Dazzler, a famed mutant in the X-Men universe who has the ability to convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams and hasn’t shown up on screen so far. Turner included the caption that this album was her favorite “pre 1989, of course”. 1989 was the most recent album of Taylor Swift and Turner also tagged the Grammy winner in the photo.
This is where things get interesting. Swift posted a photo of herself last summer alongside Turner, James McAvoy and series producer Simon Kinberg. The group attended one of her shows in Montreal where the movie was shooting. This has understandably led to speculation Swift might cameo as Dazzler in the film.
In related news, a new photo from the film has shown off some of the costumes each of the young mutants will wear in the new film – designs that closer emulate the comics than pretty much any of the comics before.
Finally there’s also two more international TV spots featuring some new bits of footage, along with the first clip from the film. “X-Men: Apocalypse” opens May 27th.
