Wright Replaces Whitaker In “Single Shot”

Jeffery Wright (“Casino Royale”) will replace Forest Whitaker in the thriller “A Single Shot” at Unified Pictures and Bron Films says Variety.

Sam Rockwell plays a hunter who accidentally shoots a teenage girl while illegally poaching deer. Trying to dispose of her body, he stumbles on a small fortune and is forced into an atmospheric game of cat and mouse between himself and some backwater criminals.

Jason Isaacs and William H. Macy have also joined the cast. David M. Rosenthal (“Janie Jones”) directs from a screenplay by Matthew F. Jones and shooting kicked off in Vancouver last week.
