Wright Pens Blade Runner Sequel

Scribe Travis Wright (“Eagle Eye”) is working on a sequel to “Blade Runner” with the original film’s producer Bud Yorkin reports Slash Film.

Wright says he is developing a script and pre-visualisation sequences for a pitch to studio Warner Bros. Pictures.

Wright’s former writing partner John Glenn worked on the sequel but became “uneasy” with the idea of making a follow-up to Ridley Scott’s 1982 film.

“It never got too far off the ground because the movie is so perfect, so the more we thought about it, the more uneasy we became with the idea,” he said.
