Wreck-It Ralph Sequel On The Way?

Film music composer Henry Jackman says that a sequel to 2012’s animated Disney hit “Wreck-It Ralph” appears to be in the works.

Jackman tells Collider: “I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards. I don’t know any more other than a story is indeed being written.”

Jackman, who also did the score for the recently released “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain Phillips,” adds that ‘Ralph 2’ would be the first movie where he’s worked on both the original and its sequel on his own – he previously scored both “Kick-Ass” films with the help of various other composers.

In early 2013, the film’s director Rich Moore was asked about a potential sequel to which he said: “We’re just kind of waiting for an official word at this point.”
