Woodley Joins Kidman In HBO’s “Big Little Lies”

Shailene Woodley (“Divergent”) is set to join Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman in David E. Kelley’s limited series “Big Little Lies” on HBO. Kidman made the announcement at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi yesterday.

Based on Liane Moriarty’s 2014 novel, the darkly comic drama follows three mothers of kindergartners whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. Woodley will reportedly play a single mother, but HBO has yet to confirm her involvement.

Witherspoon and Kidman will executive produce along with Bruna Papandrea and Per Saari. Kelley is also exec producing and writing several episodes.
