A new report has suggested that Marvel Studios has commissioned “Wonder Woman 1984” screenwriter David Callaham to pen the script for one of their yet-to-be-announced movies.
That Hashtag Show announced the news, and adds that it is definitely a big screen release and not one of the projects being developed for Disney’s streaming service. “Black Panther 2,” “Black Widow” and “The Eternals” already have writers attached so which project he’s doing is unclear.
Callaham created Amazon’s short-lived “Jean-Claude Van Johnson,” penned 2005’s “Doom,” the first “The Expendables,” 2014’s “Godzilla” reboot and the upcoming “Zombieland” sequel along with working on the script with Patty Jenkins for the sequel to last year’s celebrated DC Comics adaptation. Callaham has also been linked to a “Mortal Kombat” reboot in the works.
