The Stuff reports that the upcoming “Wolverine” movie will be set in the 1970’s and much of the explosive finale will be shot on New Zealand’s south island.
The scenes, which include a sniper rocket blowing up a barn of a farmhouse property called Hudson Farm, will be shot around Arcadia Station in mid-January for eight days.
Sets are being constructed there and at Deer Park Heights. Other scenes will be shot at Kingston Beach, Milford Sound, Rees Valley, Skippers Canyon and Naseby Forest.
Pre-production is currently under way at Fox Studios in Sydney.
