Witches of Eastwick Goes To TV

ABC have put in a pilot for a TV series variation of George Miller’s 1987 supernatural black comedy “The Witches of Eastwick” says Digital Spy.

Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer starred in the original story of three women who turn to witchcraft after losing (or booting) the men in their lives. They conjure up a devil-like character, who then proceeds to seduce all three of them.

Maggie Friedman (“Dawson’s Creek”) will pen the script. The likes of Ally Walker, Lori Loughlin and Marcia Cross were attached to previous failed pilots based on the property for NBC in 1992 and The WB in 2002.
