Winter 2017 TV Premiere Dates

With the new year comes a busy time for TV as a bunch of cable shows use the first quarter of the year to launch, while various other key network shows return from hiatuses be they a few weeks or a few months.

This year in particular the networks pushed back a bunch of shows from originally slated Fall premieres to bow in the first few months of 2017. Today comes a quick guide as to when all the key scripted series are either slated to premiere or set to return to the air across broadcast, basic cable, premium cable and streaming.

Amongst the highlights are the Tom Hardy-led “Taboo,” the return of “Sherlock,” FX’s X-Men universe set “Legion,” Marvel & Netflix’s “Iron Fist” series, the “Good Wife” spin-off “The Good Fight,” the Archie reinvention “Riverdale,” the final seasons of “Black Sails” and “Girls,” the return of “24,” the Jude Law-led HBO drama “The Young Pope,” Netflix’s Lemony Snicket series, and Tarsem’s Wizard of Oz reinvention “Emerald City”:
