Erin Cressida Wilson (“The Girl on the Train,” “Fur”) has been hired to pen a remake of Adrian Lyne’s infamous 1993 drama “Indecent Proposal” at Paramount Players.
Robert Redford stars as a billionaire who offers a young married couple (played by Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson) one million dollars to spend a romantic evening with Moore’s character.
The erotic encounter has devastating consequences for the couple’s relationship which is never the same again. The original film pulled in $266 million worldwide and prompted plenty of dinner table conversation.
Disney recently hired Wilson to pen its live-action remake of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”.
