Will Wolverine Do A Cameo In “Deadpool”?

With the film adaptation of Marvel Comics hero “Deadpool” finally on the way and well into filming, there’s been one obvious question – will we see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine make an appearance?

Jackman and Reynolds played the roles in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and Jackman has appeared in every “X-Men” film to date so far. He has not been confirmed for “Deadpool” as yet, and star Reynolds suggests it hasn’t happened yet but there is still hope at this point. He tells News.com.au:

“God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.”

Talking about the difference between filming this and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” Reynolds says he’s more ‘intimately involved’ in the production which is also smaller in scale than the previous “X-Men” movies:

“We’re just diving into it, but it’s such a fun cast and crew, it’s been really lovely so far. I’m intimately involved, only because this movie doesn’t have the budget that those X-Men movies had; this is, comparatively speaking, a very small film.

We have to make the most out of every dollar that we’re putting on screen. So you get involved in all sorts of things that you would never have otherwise gotten involved in, right down to what color the walls are at the back of the set.”

“Deadpool” opens on February 12th 2016.
