Oscar-winning “The French Connection” and “Sorcerer” director Wiliam Friedkin is partnering with LD Entertainment on the feature-length documentary “The Devil and Father Amorth”.
The film will explore how moments in Friedkin’s classic 1973 film “The Exorcist compares” to the actual spiritual practice of exorcisms.
Friedkin received permission to attend an exorcism performed by Father Gabriele Amorth. Friedkin previously worked with LD’s Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon on “Killer Joe”.
