Which Movie Ads Won The Super Bowl

Using live audience spikes which take into account people ‘rewinding the action’, TiVo (via The Hollywood Reporter) says that Universal’s “Robin Hood” and “The Wolfman” were the best received move adverts during the big game, followed by Disney’s “Prince of Persia,” Paramount’s “Shutter Island” and Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland”.

‘Alice’ on the other hand scored the ‘most memorable movie commercial’ from a MovieTickets.com poll with 81% of voters remembering seeing it. In that poll “Robin Hood” came in second, while “The Last Airbender” and “The Back-Up Plan” came in last.

The game itself scored 106.5 million viewers, making it not only the most watched game but the most watched TV program in U.S. history – breaking the record held by 1983’s “M*A*S*H” finale with 105.97 million viewers.
