When To Get Summer ’09 Hits On DVD

With the release of “Wolverine” on DVD and Blu-ray earlier this week, the Summer’s biggest films have begun their migration to home video. Blu-ray and DVD dates have been announced for most of Summer’s biggest titles in the past month, here’s the quick list for when the biggest titles will be available in stores:

October 6th: “Imagine That”, “Year One”
October 13th: “Drag Me to Hell”, “Land of the Lost”, “The Proposal”
October 20th: “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”
October 27th: “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” “Orphan”, “Whatever Works”

November 3rd: “The Taking of Pelham 123”, “I Love You Beth Cooper”
November 10th: “The Ugly Truth”, “Up”
November 17th: “Bruno”, “My Sister’s Keeper”, “Star Trek”
November 24th: “Angels and Demons”

December 1st: “Terminator Salvation”, “Night at the Museum 2”
December 8th: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”

Films that haven’t set release dates yet are Michael Mann’s “Public Enemies”, acclaimed rom-com fantasy “500 days of Summer”, Judd Apatow’s “Funny People”, and most notably the comedy smash hit “The Hangover”.

None of the August theatrical releases (GI Joe, District 9, Basterds) have yet to set dates either.
