Whedon Getting “Justice League” Script Credit

Warner Bros. Pictures has officially announced that filmmaker Joss Whedon will receive screenplay credit on the upcoming “Justice League” film.

The credit, which comes from the just released Warner Bros. Pictures press preview kit, reads as Whedon and Chris Terrio penning the screenplay from a story by Terrio and Zack Snyder.

Whedon does not currently have a producer or executive producer credit on the film, which he’s currently directing additional photography on. He is also overseeing the completion of its post production.

He will NOT, however, receive an on-screen credit for directing. Snyder previously departed the project following the tragic passing of his daughter and remains the film’s sole credited director.

“Justice League” opens in cinemas on November 10th 2017.
