Logan Marshall-Green (“Prometheus,” “The Invitation” is set to star in “Saw” and “Insidious” co-creator Leigh Whannell’s sci-fi thriller “Stem” for Blumhouse Productions and Goalpost.
The story is set in a near-future when technology controls nearly all aspects of life and centers on a technophobe (Marshall-Green) who avenges his wife’s murder and his own paralysis-causing injury with the help of an experimental computer chip implant called Stem.
Whannell wrote the script and will direct. Jason Blum, Kylie du Fresne and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones are producing and filming will take place in Melbourne next year.
