HBO has a treat for “Westworld” fans with the second season of the series having gone online a few days early through the network’s official channels.
HBO has posted the second episode of the series up on HBO Go, HBO Now, and HBO On Demand for subscribers, over two days before the linear channel premiere this coming Sunday night. The reason for the early release is likely so that ratings wise the network won’t have to compete with the second U.S. presidential debate.
In the episode ‘Chestnut,’ a pair of guests, first-timer William and repeat visitor Logan, arrive at Westworld with different expectations and agendas. Bernard and Quality Assurance head Theresa Cullen debate whether a recent host anomaly is contagious. Meanwhile, the Man in Black conscripts a condemned man, Lawrence, to help him uncover Westworld’s deepest secrets.
