Even though he’s serving a prison sentence for tax evasion in the McKean Federal Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania until June 2013, actor Wesley Snipes is keeping busy and is already making plans for when he gets out.
IGN was able to conduct an interview with the “Blade” star who is involved with an iPhone game “Julius Styles: The International” which has just been released. He said the spy game would “definitely want to make a super-cool feature film”.
He’s also looking into two sic-fi projects that could become films. The first is “Omandi Mech 5” about a family of a warrior scientist whose son is resurrected in the body of a giant hero robot who battles “beings who set out to reclaim the surface planet and reduce the earthlings to beasts of burden and food”.
The other is “After Dark” which he and Antoine Fuqua created and is being released as a graphic novel through Radical Publishing.
Asked if he’d do another “Blade” film, Snipes says “Under the right circumstances, with the right team, yes, I’d do another one. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not waiting around for the opportunity… It would be nice to fulfil some of the really cool plans we had for Blade, but didn’t get the chance to go live with.”
