Warners Wants Crowe, Gosling, Black’s “Guys”

Warner Bros. Pictures has become the frontrunner to score the North American rights to “Iron Man 3” and “Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang” writer/director Shane Black’s upcoming project “The Nice Guys”.

Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are circling the leads to star in the film about a private eye investigating the apparent suicide of a fading porn star in 1970s Los Angeles. He soon uncovers a conspiracy.

Black co-wrote the script with Anthony Bagarozzi. He is also slated to produce with Joel Silver with whom he worked on the “Lethal Weapon” franchise.
