Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the rights to tell the true story tale “Ghost Army”.
The WW2-set story follows a squadron of recruits from art schools, ad agencies and other creative businesses who were tasked with fooling the Nazis into thinking the U.S. had larger troop numbers than it actually did.
Bradley Cooper, Todd Phillips and Andrew Lazar will produce the film which is partly inspired by Rick Beyer and documentary of the same name as this project.
Cooper, Phillips and Lazar have set Henry Gayden (“Earth To Echo”) to write the script. The hope is Cooper will want to star in it, but that’s far from certain at this point.
