Warners Nabs “Beautiful Disaster” Rights

Warner Bros. Pictures has won a bidding war for the film rights to Jamie McGuire’s “Beautiful Disaster” says The Hollywood Reporter.

Described as “Fifty Shades of Grey” for the young adult set (namely with younger characters and no wild sex), the story centers on a college good-girl who makes a bet with a tattooed bad boy that he must abstain from sex for a month.

If she loses, she must live with him for a month. Warners beat out CBS Films for the project which Donald De Line will produce.
