ABC’s action series “Whiskey Cavalier” may not be so dead after all.
TV Line reports that ABC, which axed the Scott Foley-Lauren Cohan drama earlier this month, may reverse its decision and order a second season which would premiere midseason.
The site says talks between ABC and producer Warner Bros. Television are ongoing with one source putting the odds of the show returning at 2:1.
The studio has also put feelers out to a number of streaming outlets, and ABC has confirmed to the outlet the network is “taking another quick look at the feasibility of renewing the show” with a decision expected by the end of the coming week.
Show fans have been mobilising since the axe fell two weeks ago. The season finale aired on Wednesday and drew 3.8 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating.
