Warners Has Picked Up “Infinite Horizon”

Warner Bros. Pictures has preemptively picked up the rights to the six-issue comic miniseries “The Infinite Horizon” from Image Comics.

A sci-fi spin on Homer’s “The Odyssey,” the military story is set in the near future and deals with a soldier who leads a group of abandoned soldiers on a ten-year journey back home.

Along the way, he faces shipwrecks, an opponent wearing Cyclops-like battle tech armor and the call of sirens.

Ryan Condal is penning the script for the adaptation with “Arrow” and “The Flash” producer Greg Berlanti slated to produce the project alongside Lawrence Grey.
