Warners Enters The School of Fear

Warner Bros. Pictures has pre-emptively picked up film rights to “School of Fear,” a children’s novel proposal from Gitty Daneshvari says the trades.

The 89-page proposal details a four-part book series that tells the adventures of four 12-year-olds named Madeleine, Garrison, Lulu and Theo who attend an offbeat summer camp called School of Fear run by an elusive headmistress.

The camp aims at eradicating children’s phobias through unorthodox methods. The first book will be published in Fall 2009.
