With the seventh season premiere of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” less than two weeks away, the network has made two announcement about the series today.
Firstly, the network is planning an 88-hour catch-up marathon which include all 83 episodes of the series’ six seasons so far, plus a new two-hour retrospective special and the Season 7 premiere.
The action kicks off Sunday, October 16th at 7am with Season 1 and the first half of Season 2 through to the special that night. The remainder of the episodes will start at 6pm each night for the following week.
The other news today is the release of a new 3.5-minute promo featurette for the new season exploring where we left our characters at the end of last season and what’s ahead for the group in the new episodes. Check it out below, though please be aware it is geolocked to North America only.
