The second episode of current ninth season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” drew a 2.0 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic and 4.9 million viewers in the Live+Same Day numbers.
That’s down around 20% in both measures from last week’s season premiere, and a series low for the show. The previous lowest ratings figure was a 2.4 set during the first season.
In terms of total viewers, it hasn’t dropped to its lowest point (4.7 million) just yet. This marks the latest ratings blow to the series which was TV’s number one show in the key demo for multiple seasons.
