The third season finale of AMC’s prequel spin-off series “Fear the Walking Dead” may have revealed which character from which series will be showing up in the franchise’s first real crossover.
Earlier this month at New York Comic Con, creator Robert Kirkman revealed that one character from one of the shows would turn up on the other one next season and it’s going to be “a huge event in the world of The Walking Dead”.
While there’s still no official word regarding which character will appear on which show, the season finale srongly suggests that former “The Walking Dead” regular Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), who met his fate at the end of Negan’s baseball bat Lucille, will soon appear on ‘Fear’.
Abraham revealed on the main show he spent the early days of the apocalypse surviving in a grocery store in Houston with his wife and children who were ultimately killed. In the ‘Fear’ S3 finale, several characters made references to Houston and the group is currently at the Mexican-American border heading north desperate to find a new home.
‘Fear’ the Walking Dead will return for its fourth season with new showrunners and former “The Walking Dead” showrunner Scott Gimple in place as an executive producer in 2018. “The Walking Dead” premieres its eighth season on October 22nd on AMC.
