28 Entertainment has acquired the film rights to the best-selling autobiography “Code Name: Johnny Walker”.
The true life account follows the exploits of a Navy SEALs translator in Iraq called upon to aid special forces troops during the insurgency. The book was penned under a pseudonym and co-written with Jim DeFelice.
This one Iraqi risked everything to fight with U.S. troops, in particular the Navy SEALs, becoming one of the only interpreters to be welcomed into their tight-knit fold.
