Paramount Pictures has moved up the Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne-led comedy “Instant Family” by a full three months.
Originally slated for a Valentine’s Day weekend release next year, the project is now coming into this year and will open instead on November 16th following strong responses from test screenings. The plan is to take advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Wahlberg and Byrne play a couple who decides to start a family and adopt through the foster-care system, only to find themselves raising three wild kids who have no interest in being parented.
Octavia Spencer, Isabela Moner, Tig Notaro, Iliza Shlesinger, and Tom Segura also star in the film from writer/director Sean Anders (“Daddy’s Home”). John Morris co-wrote the script and the pair produces with Wahlberg and Steve Levinson.
