Wahlberg In Talks For Netflix’s “Triple Frontier”

Mark Wahlberg has begun talks to replace Ben Affleck, while Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal are in talks to join him on J.C. Chandor’s new film “Triple Frontier” for Netflix.

Mark Boal penned the story which is set in the notorious border zone between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil where the Igazu and Parana rivers converge – a haven for organized crime.

The likes of Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Tom Hardy, Channing Tatum, Will Smith and Mahershala Ali have also all been attached at some point over the years while Kathryn Bigelow was slated to direct at one time.

Filming is set to begin in August in Hawaii and Colombia.
