The first footage from Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was just screened at the San Diego Comic Con and showed a first look at Michael Keaton as The Vulture in the final shot. While the clip is not being released online, Marvel has posted the concept art of the shot in question.
The clip shows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker watching YouTube footage of himself taking down the Giant Ant-Man from ‘Civil War’. Other scenes show Peter working on his ‘web fluid’ during science class while other studios play ‘F–k, Marry, Kill’ game with the Avengers in mind (Thor, Iron Man, Hulk specficially).
Several attendees have described it as “John Hughes with superheroes” which is the vibe director Jon Watts and the producers have been aiming for. The film is currently targeting a July 7th 2017 release.
