It was a Q&A session that become quite tense at points, and now some of it has gone online.
On Monday night, actor Dustin Hoffman was appearing as part of a panel to commemorate the 20th anniversary of “Wag The Dog”. According to some people present, things went off the rails after moderator John Oliver brought up the sexual harassment allegations pegged at Hoffman – and the session never recovered.
Hoffman was first accused in a guest THR column by Anna Graham Hunter last month in which she accused Hoffman of attempting to grope her multiple times when she was just 17. On another occasion, she said she she went into his dressing room to ask his breakfast order and he told her: “I’ll have a hard-boiled egg… and a soft-boiled clitoris.”
