In recent times film editor Job Willins has shown his love of the “Alien” franchise by coming up with two fan re-edits entitled “Ripley” and “Derelict”.
The former took “Alien 3” and “Alien Resurrection” and turned them into a single black-and-white film. The latter cut together “Alien” and “Prometheus” into one feature. Now he’s back with “Man of Tomorrow,” a 2.5 hour edit together of Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice”.
The aim was to take two films he was ‘less-than-enamored’ with and cut them together into a cohesive narrative about the rise and fall of Superman. The result is the loss of some key scenes, and the re-ordering of many scenes with the intent changed on quite a few. Check it out before it no doubt gets pulled.
