The short film companion piece to Alfonso Cuaron’s “Gravity” has gone online. The seven-minute “Aningaaq” follows an Inuit fisherman who receives a distress call from… well you have to see the film to find out.
“Gravity” co-writer Jonas Cuaron is responsible for the short though which shows off a whole other side regarding a key moment in the film. The $100,000-budget short has been submitted to the AMPAS as it’s a potential contender for the live-action short film Oscar.
