“Voltron,” “Freemaker,” “Water,” “God” Renewals

A bunch of renewals have just been handed out to various shows.

First up, the executive producers and cast of Netflix’s “Voltron: Legendary Defender” have confirmed at WonderCon that this modern reboot of the franchise is getting a third season which will air late in 2017.

Next, Disney XD has renewed “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” for a second season with new episodes of the animated comedy adventure set to premiere this summer. Prior to the second season debut, five new shorts that fill in the storytelling between seasons one and two debut on Wednesday May 4th.

Third, USA Network has renewed its dream-centric drama “Falling Water” for a second season. The new episodes are currently targeting a late 2017 premiere.

While all three of those are confirmed, a unconfirmed rumor at Omega Underground suggests Starz has already ordered a second season of its still to premiere new series “American Gods” with shooting scheduled to begin in Toronto in September.
