Gun Media and IllFonic’s “Friday the 13th: The Game” remains a game caught in limbo. With the franchise stuck in a legal quagmire, any future updates to the semi-open-world game released last year have been halted.

That means no new content will be produced and players are effectively enjoying the game until the servers eventually shut down. That’s a shame though as one big update was in the works, one inspired by the sci-fi shenanigans of 2001’s “Jason X”.

Now the game’s French Facebook page has shared a 23-minute video showcasing the map of that level showcasing the Grendel and how players interact on the spaceship, though sadly no Uber Jason is in sight. The Jason X map was due to release this month and was to have been the biggest update to the game thus far, but now with impending litigation it likely won’t ever be release.

“Friday the 13th: The Game” is available now on Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
